The Internet Society of the Philippines will be hosting the “2011 Philippine IPv6 Conference and Training” together with the Advanced Science and Technology Institute (ASTI), and the Commission on Information and Communications Technology (CICT), from January 24 to 27, 2011 at the Makati Shangri-la Hotel Manila.
This four-day event will serve as a multi-sector campaign to promote the “next generation” protocol otherwise known as the Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6), which is designed to replace the current Internet Protocol Version 4 (IPv4). The said event will also provide an opportunity for everyone to collaborate and learn IPv6 through an awareness forum, remote participation, and hands-on technical training.
